Our program
Not a kennel. A family.
We are the Spears, ethical breeders of AKC-registered American Akitas, located near the Petrified Forest in Northern Arizona. Our dogs are part of our household — they swim Lake Powell, sleep in the trailer, and come home with us.
Every litter is born, weaned, and socialized in our home. Puppies stay with their mothers until at least eight weeks, handled daily by family and friends who love them as much as we do. They leave with a hand-assembled care package built for the transition.
